UFC 110 Predictions

February 19, 2010

Here are my UFC 110 predictions. This is really exciting as I will be able to watch UFC 110 live stream this weekend and that’s why I took some time to make this personal predictions.

Mirko “Cro Cop” vs Ben Rothwell

Cro Cop gets tired of hitting Rothwell halfway into round two and quits, then tells everyone he’ll be back better than ever, and then we’ll never hear from him again. He’ll probably resurface next year at a Japanese pro wrestling event where he dumps a bucket of eels over a girl’s head while she is wearing a schoolgirl outfit made out of rice paper.

Keith Jardine vs Ryan Bader

Jardine is coming off two losses, which makes any fighter dangerous. But, a desperate Jardine is still going to have trouble with the absolute monster that is Bader. Keith does have the benefit of training with some absolutely phenomenal wrestlers, but Bader has the benefit of never telling me I asked a stupid question. ADVANTAGE: BADER

Joe Stevenson vs George Sotiropoulos

George Sotiropoulos is undefeated in the UFC, and his Jiu Jitsu game is constantly evolving thanks to Eddie Bravo over at 10th Planet. However, this will be George’s toughest test to date. But Joe Daddy should win this fight…but it’s the UFC and it’s in Land Down Under town, and after seeing the UFC 109 results, anything can happen. Sooo…George via foot stomps.

Wanderlei Silva vs Michael Bisping

Wanderlei says he’s back to the old Wanderlei, which means Bisping will hopefully go back to the old Bisping who fought against the new Henderson. There may be the added pressure on Silva, since the whole world will be watching and hoping for a KO, but this is Wanderlei SIlva here. Wanderlei by KO, 4 seconds into round 1. Just hoping so let’s just see and watch UFC 110.

Antonio Minotauro Nogueira vs Cain Velasquez

Match made in heaven for UFC 110. I think that in the end, it’s always better to be serving out the beatings. I also think that the years of beatings will take its toll on Nog. I also think I’ve said beatings way too much. In a somewhat passing of the Olympic torch I see Cain getting the ref stoppage on this one…and somehow, Nog leaving the cage with his face looking better than when he walked in.

If you like offense, this should be another great game to watch. Both teams revolve around their quarterbacks, and you get the feeling that whoever has the ball last comes away with the win.

Watch Texas vs Alabama BCS Live Stream

January 7, 2010

Are you going to watch Texas vs Alabama online live streaming? I will because this will be an exciting college football game.

After a full season of college football action, this is the one we’ve all been waiting for. No. 1 vs. No. 2. SEC vs. Big XII. Texas vs. Alabama for the National Championship.

More Texas vs Alabama here.

When breaking down these two teams, everyone starts with the offensive weapons, but it’s the defenses which got them here. First for Alabama, they’re simply the best: First in scoring defense (11 points per game), second in total defense (271 yards per game) and second in run defense (just 78 yards per game).

They have an extremely fast and athletic front-seven led by All-American linebacker Rolando McClain, as well as All-American defensive tackle Terrence Cody. And their defensive backs are just as good, with All-American (sensing a trend here?) Javier Arenas at cornerback and safties Justin Woodall and Mark Barron.

Watch New Moon Online For Free Without Download And Surveys

Where can I watch New Moon online for free without download and with no surveys? It’s really frustrating to see websites where you need to download New Moon or you need to answer a survey first before you can watch New Moon online for free.

Well, as for me, I was able to find a few websites but I know they will disappear after a while because they are afraid of being caught for copyright. Anyway, as a New Moon fan, I will definitely watch this in the cinemas.

And then, I will also watch Eclipse which will be shown on June 2010. I love the Twilight Saga! Check out this New Moon poem at Birthday Love.

Aus vs Eng for Cricket

October 2, 2009

It’s weird that I am getting myself really excited for a cricket game. I don’t know why but it’s actually a good game. And one of the cricket matches I’m eagerly waiting, the AUS vs ENG match later for the ICC Champions Trophy Semifinals 2009.

The country has so much influence from the US and I wonder if the UK had been here, if we would also be bowling with the Aussies and the English. Bowling as in for cricket, mind you.

If you’re not doing anything, then maybe you can catch the Australia vs England cricket game with me. It will be both educational and exciting I’m sure.

Mayweather Marquez and UFC 103

September 19, 2009

There has never been a battle as big as this. Who do you think would sports fans would watch? Will it be the Mayweather vs Marquez live stream or the mixed martial arts event?

While I have chosen to watch UFC 103 live stream over the boxing fight, many are choosing Mayweather Marquez because it’s a once in a lifetime event.

However, I believe that it’s all about the quantity. With UFC, you have several fights in one night while with the boxing, it’s just one fight that you’re not sure how long.

If the boxing event ends in one round, then you’ll feel you’ve been cheated. Hmmm… maybe that’s why a friend of mine simply chose to watch both Mayweather Marquez and UFC 103 live streams.

I guess that’s a smarter choice.

I Think UFC 102 Will Be Boring

August 29, 2009

I will be watching the UFC 102 live stream later this day, but I think I will not enjoy it. But who knows right? Anyway, I have a hunch that UFC 102 will be boring. Here’s why:

First of all the main event is between two guys that are WAY past their prime.   I will not go as far as saying these two guys are washed up but they aren’t wothy of a UFC main event.

The co-main even is Keith Jardine vs Thiago Silva. This is another match I have no interst in really, because we have seen Silva against the best at 205 (Machida) and he got mauled very easily, and Jardine is FAR from the top of the food chain at 205. So it’s another case of the winner of this match doesn’t even deserve a sniff at a title shot.

Ad: Watch UFC 102 Free

Chris Leben vs Jake Rosholt, Leben is a fairly exciting fighter, but once again is not someone who will ever contend for the middleweight belt. I think we all remember when he faced Anderson Silva a few years ago - that was a complete joke.

Nate Marquardt vs Demian Maia - This is really the only UFC 102 fight that interests me. Maia looks like an absolute Submission specialist beast and Marquardt is a huge middleweight and gave Anderson Silva a challenge.

Brandon Vera vs Krzysztof Soszynski - I know the UFC wants Vera to be a star, but he’s not. He lost to Jardine - and that means you are not great plain and simple.

July 17, 2009

The coolest business and livelihood training institution in the Philippines is definitely Nego-Skwela. Yes, Negoskwela is Kwela. Why? Because I just attended one of their seminars and I really learned a lot.

2009 Emmy Nominations

July 16, 2009

The 2009 Emmy Nominations will be announced in a few more hours. I’m sure all television fans are waiting for the complete list.

I am one of them because I am a certified couch potato and also a very big fan of Grey’s Anatomy.

I want Chandra Wilson to be included in the list, and I’m sure she will be. She is really a strong contender for the best supporting actress in a drama series.

So who are your favorites for the 2009 Emmy Awards for Primetime television? I hope your favorite will also be included in the list.
